In December 2012, TransGrid, the owner, operator and manager of the high-voltage electricity transmission system in NSW, announced a freeze on its transmission revenue in 2013 in a bid to remove price volatility for customers. Founded in 1976 by Harvey Michaels, Elephant’s Foot has been wholly Australian owned and operated for over thirty years.
